In this position, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that enhances the Snoqualmie Valley Health brand and supports the District’s mission, vision and objectives. You'll develop, write, and maintain a variety of materials to attract and grow the District’s patient base and attract and recruit prospective new employees. Ensuring our content aligns with brand strategy, focusing on quality, consistency, and timely delivery while managing costs. To be successful in this role, you should exhibit initiative, the ability to adeptly manage your workload, and strategically prioritize tasks to achieve optimal outcomes.

This position requires the ability to be on site (not remote) in our hospital with some minimal travel throughout our district area and to Seattle, WA for events and conferences.

Responsibilities

Brand Integrity: Ensures all content supports brand strategy and aligns with the mission, vision, and values. Maintains brand standards.

Website Development: Oversees development of Snoqualmie Valley Health’s website through WordPress. Updates online content, ensuring the website is user-friendly, optimized for SEO, and aligns with branding guidelines.

Blog Support: Supports maintenance of the organization's blog, including coordinating authors, editing, formatting, and publishing. Ensures that blog posts are optimized for SEO, visually appealing, and aligned with the organization's branding. Monitors blog performance and engagement, and implements improvements based on analytic.

Content Creation: Develops and designs attractive, professional content that supports the strategic plan and drives business growth. Assists in videography and photography from concept to editing.

Digital Marketing: Maintains the website and other digital assets to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and alignment with the brand. Leads digital marketing efforts to engage audiences and enhance brand presence.

Analytics and Reporting: Conducts data analysis using analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance, providing insights to refine strategies.

Professional Development and Innovation: Engages in continuous learning to stay updated on emerging trends, innovative approaches, and industry best practices. Thinks creatively and takes initiative in proposing new ideas or campaigns.

Team Collaboration: Acts as a consultant for various projects. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and external vendors, to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. Aligns marketing efforts with organizational goals.

Community Outreach & Brand Engagement: Participates in local events and initiatives to strengthen relationships and foster brand loyalty. Supports internal and external special events as needed as part of the Marketing Team.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in communication, public relations, marketing or related field.

Required Experience: Three years of directly-related professional work experience preferred, including AP Style writing, graphic design experience and social media campaigns.

Skills: SharePoint 365, Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress experience desired.

Abilities: Onsite and travel in support of events and conferences in the Snoqualmie Valley district area and Seattle, WA. Must be able to work core business hours.

Work Environment

Office and clinical settings with potential exposure to patient care areas.

Some evenings and weekends may be required to meet department needs.

Physical Demands

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

May require occasional travel between facility locations.

Benefit Eligibility: Employees regularly scheduled at least 20 hours per week.

Employee Dependents: Your legal spouse or domestic partner; dependent children until age 26.

Waiting Period: 1st of the month following 30 days from your date of hire.
