FWI is building a team to provide comprehensive administrative, executive, programmatic, and analytical support to the National Science Foundation's Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA). As an Animator, you will create animations, motion graphics, and visual effects that bring NSF's scientific discoveries and research to life for diverse audiences. Hybrid:
This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with 90% onsite at NSF headquarters in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities
Create 2D and 3D animations for video productions, web content, and social media Design and produce motion graphics to visualize complex scientific concepts Create visual effects for a variety of video productions Develop complex graphics and original artwork using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and 3D animation software Collaborate with video producers and editors to integrate animations into productions Support post-production with graphics and animation elements as needed Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience as a motion graphics designer Experience with 2D and 3D Animation Experience with Motion Graphics Experience with Visual Effects Experience using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and 3D animation software Creative problem-solving abilities Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance FWI is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
