Territory: Spokane, WA / Montana – Neurology. Target cities include Spokane, WA and Missoula, MT; candidates living within 40 miles of territory boundaries with access to a major airport will be considered. Territory boundaries include: Spokane, WA, the state of Montana, and Jackson, WY.

Responsibilities
Lead the promotion of our infusion product, driving demand creation by providing comprehensive clinical knowledge, executing sales and marketing strategies in the local market, and partnering to deploy approved services necessary to meet the needs of each account/customer.
Execute against commercialization challenges in today’s rapidly changing environment with strong capability in the following areas:
Business Planning & Account Leadership – Use digital tools and data-based insights to build opportunities, develop strategy & tactics, and prioritize resources to enhance territory effectiveness.
Selling – Deliver messages clearly, probe customer needs, handle objections, and close with a commitment to action to drive behavior change. Engage with multi-disciplinary customers using a total office call approach to communicate value of new delivery methods.
Customer Development – Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships through effective communication and collaboration based on customer needs and organizational goals.
Payer Access – Understand reimbursement and distribution processes in a complex coverage landscape; anticipate and communicate impact on the product portfolio and address payer access issues using Lundbeck resources.
Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise – Gather and validate key market trends, map account linkages, and apply therapeutic knowledge to uncover opportunities and understand the disease state and its impact on customers and patients.
Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance – Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical and regulatory environments, Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations regarding promotion of products; adhere to corporate, FDA, and PDMA guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university
4+ years of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience
Ownership and accountability for the development and execution of fully integrated account plans
Self-starter with strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills
Proven track record of consistent sales performance
Ability to score highly on disease and product training exams; annual certification on product knowledge
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Residence within 40 miles of territory boundaries
Uphold valid driver’s license with a safe driving record per company requirements
Ability to meet reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers / facilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a specialty product sales force
Infusion/rare disease sales experience in Outpatient Infusion and Specialty Pharmacy with pricing and reimbursement knowledge
Neurology experience specific to migraine
Experience in medical or specialty pharmacy benefit markets
Experience with high-influence customers in physician clinics, integrated health systems, infusion centers and alternative care sites
Product launch or expansion experience in a new therapeutic class
Strong analytical background and experience using sales data tools to identify trends
Leadership experience through committees, rotations, panels or related activities
Travel
Willingness/ability to travel up to 30%–40% domestically to meet/interact with customers and internal personnel; participate in 4–8 conferences/meetings across the United States. Travel must be feasible and timely.
The salary range displayed is a national range and may vary based on location, qualifications, skills, and proficiency. Salary Pay Range: $155,000 – $172,000 with eligibility for a sales incentive target of $41,500.
