What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Design strategies for enterprise database systems and establish standards for operations and security
Construct and manage large relational databases, ensuring optimal performance and integration with existing systems
Administer Oracle databases and perform updates and upgrades to database versions and servers
Develop PL/SQL and automation scripts for efficient database management
Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to support daily operations and implement DevOps practices
What is Required (Qualifications)
US Citizen with the ability to obtain DHS Public Trust suitability clearance
Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or additional years of experience in lieu of degree
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Oracle systems administration in large‑scale environments
Proven experience installing and configuring Oracle databases
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Services, and experience with on‑premise to AWS migrations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with advanced Oracle 11 and 12 features such as RAC and Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
Proficiency in writing scripts using a scripting language
Knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies
Experience working with any DHS agencies or entities
