Role Summary

The Associate Director – US Commercial IT Account Management Capability Lead sits within the global Gilead IT organization with the primary responsibility of supporting the US Commercial team as a key member of the global US Commercial Field Enablement IT team. The role acts as a techno-functional lead on HCP/HCO account management capability, reporting to the US Commercial IT Field Enablement lead. It involves partnering with business and IT teams to implement Next Gen CRM solutions, ensure accurate HCP alignments and targeting, manage data privacy and rosters, and drive roadmap and release planning across capabilities and vendors. Responsibilities

Support and extend the US Field Enablement Capability Lead in enabling the US field force to be more effective and efficient Prioritize product backlogs, ensure user stories are clear and translatable for technical teams; act as Product Owner for sprint teams Translate business needs into IT roadmaps and solution proposals; serve as focal point for IT needs within the respective business area Lead preparations for releases, manage product roadmaps, conduct user acceptance testing, and articulate business value for technology investments Collaborate with DevOps teams and business units; oversee development of custom apps and enhancements, including AI-enabled insights and automation Engage with vendors to influence product roadmaps and understand solution capabilities; maintain Gilead & Kite specific application roadmaps Lead or support project planning, scoping, budgeting, and adherence to Unity 3.0 methodology; quantify expected benefits and compliance considerations Support agile capability delivery to shorten release cycles; ensure appropriate plans address organizational, technical, and change management needs Foster a productive working environment and promote individual growth within the team Qualifications

5-10+ years in a similar Biotech/Pharmaceutical role with strong technical and functional knowledge in HCP account management data products and field enablement Strong techno-functional knowledge of Veeva Commercial Cloud (Align, Vault CRM, Events Management), Salesforce, Vault, Master Data Management, and Analytics tools Solid understanding of systems integration approaches, IT architecture standards, and modern practices Ability to work directly with business partners and IT providers with minimal supervision High integrity aligned with company values (Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Inclusion) Education

Bachelor's Degree and Eight Years’ Experience OR Master’s Degree and Six Years’ Experience OR Ph.D. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a multi-vendor environment; vendor management is a plus Experience across SDLC stages and SLDC methodologies (Agile, Hybrid) Experience in matrixed organizations, delivering IT solutions without direct authority Experience providing cross-functional, cross-geographical IT solutions to business needs
