Overview We are witnessing the end of the passive internet and the dawn of the Agentic Age. For too long, the Creator Economy has been defined by the noise of "doom scrolling," algorithmic manipulation, and the one-way broadcast of content that leaves us disconnected and overwhelmed. At

Prodigy Labs , we are rejecting this broken model to build something profoundly human:

Mentors . We are not building chatbots; we are democratizing wisdom. By forging high-fidelity, photorealistic "digital twins" of the world’s most trusted experts—doctors, coaches, artists, and visionaries—we are transforming the relationship between Creator and Follower from distant observation to active, life-changing dialogue.

Mentors

is the world’s first Agentic Media platform, a sanctuary where technology ceases to be an interruption and becomes a trusted partner in your growth. We give you 24/7, on-demand access to the collective intelligence of the brilliant minds you admire most, grounded entirely in their verified work and free from the hallucinations of generic AI. This is more than a product; it is a movement to reclaim our attention, scale human expertise to the billions who need it, and fundamentally upgrade the human operating system. We are building the future of interaction—where you are no longer the product, but the principal. Join us, and let’s build better humans together.

The Role Prodigy Labs is seeking a

Senior Product Designer

to define the interaction layer for Mentors. In this role, you will design core user experiences that move beyond traditional chat interfaces toward more immersive and responsive interaction models grounded in human judgment and control.

You will serve as the principal designer for a cross-platform experience spanning desktop and mobile, integrating real-time conversational systems with high-fidelity 3D digital environments. Your challenge is to make advanced technology feel intuitive and unobtrusive so that users can focus on thinking, learning, and collaboration rather than mechanics.

This role requires a high level of design judgment. Many of the interaction patterns you will design do not yet have established conventions. You will be expected to make principled decisions, test them rigorously, and refine them through real-world use.

Key Responsibilities

Define the "Agentic" UX Patterns:

Design new interaction models that move beyond prompt-and-response workflows. Create systems that support active listening, contextual awareness, non-verbal signaling such as gaze direction and acknowledgment cues, and proactive assistance that respects user intent and control.

Immersive Interface Design:

Design heads-up displays and interface overlays for pixel-streamed 3D environments. Ensure that controls, transcripts, and shared workspaces integrate seamlessly with live video without disrupting focus or visual coherence.

Cross-Platform Experience Design:

Create a unified design system that scales from high-resolution desktop environments to touch-optimized mobile experiences, accounting for latency, bandwidth constraints, and device capabilities.

Prototyping and Motion Design:

Produce high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate interaction states, conversational pacing, and transition behaviors. Design loading and latency-masking behaviors that feel intentional and informative rather than disruptive.

User Research and Empathy:

Conduct usability testing to evaluate uncanny-valley risks and user comfort. Design for trust, psychological safety, and clearly defined boundaries in human-AI interactions, ensuring experiences remain authentic, respectful, and transparent. A core part of this work is ensuring that advanced interaction models remain aligned with user intent, agency, and informed consent.

Required Skills & Experience

Product Design Experience:

Five or more years of experience designing and shipping complex consumer products, particularly in social, gaming, or media contexts.

Spatial and 3D Design Literacy:

Strong understanding of spatial interface design and the principles of layering UI over 3D environments. Experience with tools such as Spline, Unity UI, or Unreal UMG is a plus but not required.

Prototyping Expertise:

Advanced proficiency in Figma, including variables and complex auto-layout systems. Experience with motion and interaction tools such as Protopie or Principle.

Technical Fluency:

Working knowledge of PWA constraints, modern CSS frameworks, and the performance implications of real-time streaming and low-latency systems.

Why This Role Matters This role sits at the intersection of emerging technology and human experience. The interaction models you design will influence how people learn, reflect, and make decisions using advanced systems. Getting this right requires restraint, clarity, and a strong sense of responsibility. You will not simply be designing screens. You will be shaping how people engage with expert knowledge in ways that are responsible, intuitive, and durable over time
