About Data-Smart City Solutions: Data-Smart City Solutions, founded in 2012 and now housed within the Bloomberg Center for Cities at Harvard University, works to catalyze the adoption of data-informed practices in local government. The program highlights best practices, surface emerging trends, connects public sector leaders with innovators across sectors, and supports cities in using data, technology, and innovation to improve quality of life for residents. Job Description: Data-Smart City Solutions seeks an innovative and detail-oriented Digital Communications and Marketing Coordinator to drive our digital engagement and broaden our audience across channels. This pivotal role will lead content creation for our newsletters, social media, website, and podcasts; manage and analyze the performance of these platforms; and implement strategies to grow and engage our audience of public-sector leaders, practitioners, and civic-minded readers and listeners. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong analytical skills, adept at leveraging data and digital tools to enhance visibility and foster community. You are as comfortable drafting compelling content as you are tracking campaign metrics, identifying trends, and recommending data-driven strategies for continuous growth.
