Position Overview
As a Design Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with customers to create the perfect flooring solutions for their homes. You will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to help you become a flooring design expert and a successful sales professional.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with customers through effective communication and follow-up.
Proactively seek out new business opportunities and generate leads through various channels.
Conduct in-home consultations to understand customer needs and recommend suitable flooring solutions.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Collaborate with our operations team to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs on a regular basis.
Willing to work retail hours
Return calls promptly
Schedule appointments with customers and arrive on time
Take accurate measurements
Create clear and precise work orders for every job
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
1-2 years of sales experience is preferred.
Experience within flooring or home industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
