Yoga Gives Back is seeking a

part-time Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator

to lead day-to-day marketing execution and fundraising communications across YGB’s global campaigns and Los Angeles–based activities. This role is responsible for maintaining a consistent communications cadence, keeping the social media engine running (calendar, scheduling, engagement), supporting sponsorship outreach and follow-up, and coordinating marketing needs for events and campaigns. This is an ideal role for someone who is organized, creative, and action-oriented—comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with YGB leadership and volunteers/ambassadors. Key Responsibilities

1) Content & Communications Draft, edit, and adapt content for distribution across multiple platforms (social, newsletters, web updates, campaign materials). Create and resize graphics using Canva (campaign tiles, stories, simple one-pagers, sponsor thank-yous). Support creation and formatting of longer-form materials as needed (blogs, impact stories, annual report sections, sponsorship/partner collateral). Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to accelerate drafting and editing, while maintaining YGB voice and accuracy. 2) Social Media Planning, Scheduling & Engagement Own the social media calendar : plan weekly/monthly content in alignment with campaigns and organizational priorities. Execute scheduling and posting using Hootsuite

across

Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn . Manage community engagement : monitor comments/DMs, respond or triage as appropriate, and implement basic engagement strategies (follows, shares, community interaction). Organize and manage marketing assets (graphics, photos, videos) in shared folders so content is labeled, current, and easy to find. 3) Fundraising & Sponsorship Support Support sponsorship communications: outreach, email follow-up, tracking responses, and maintaining a clean pipeline/status list. Assist with campaign communications and donor-facing updates across YGB’s global fundraising moments and local initiatives. Coordinate with the team to ensure marketing assets align with fundraising goals and timelines. 4) Events & Local Outreach (LA-based) Support local event outreach and coordination (studios/partners/hosts), including logistics support and promotional coordination. Help prepare attendee communications and post-event follow-up where needed. Experience

2+ years

in marketing, communications, fundraising support, or nonprofit/mission-driven work (or equivalent demonstrated capability). Experience managing

social media for an organization or brand , including calendar planning, scheduling, and engagement. Experience supporting outreach communications (sponsors, partners, donors, studios, collaborators) is strongly preferred. Skills & Qualifications

Ability to draft, edit, and adapt content for distribution across multiple platforms and audiences. Strong organizational skills and reliable follow-through; able to manage deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision. Proficiency in

Canva

(templates, resizing, simple layout) and social media Comfort executing social media scheduling, management and hands-on engagement (comments/DM triage, basic interaction strategies). Clear, professional communication style for sponsor/partner follow-up. Experience using

ChatGPT

for content drafting/editing is a plus (or willingness to learn quickly). Optional Skills

(Helpful, not required)

Experience as a

yoga student or practitioner

(or familiarity with yoga communities). WordPress / Elementor experience. Donor database/CRM experience (e.g.,

Bloomerang ) or comfort learning CRMs. Basic video editing (Reels/Shorts trimming, captions, simple edits). Familiarity with

AI marketing tools

and workflows. Compensation

$1,500/month

for approximately

60 hours/month

(~15 hours/week). 3-month trial period , with the intention to evaluate mutual fit and impact. Strong performance may lead to

expanded scope and the opportunity to evolve into a full-time role , as organizational needs and funding allow. Location & Time Commitment

Preferred: Los Angeles–based

(to support local outreach and event coordination). Hybrid/remote work for most tasks, with occasional in-person support for LA activities as needed. Part-time schedule with some flexibility; must be able to meet key campaign deadlines and respond in a timely manner.
