As the Digital Content Specialist at Interactive Strategies, you’ll help shape digital experiences for organizations doing meaningful, high-impact work. We partner with leading nonprofits, associations, and B2B organizations to solve complex problems through smart strategy and clear storytelling. In this creative department role, you'll work alongside experienced writers, designers and strategists who care deeply about digital experiences. You’ll help turn research and insight into web copy that is clear, usable, and compelling. You’ll contribute to high-profile website builds, own smaller projects end to end, and keep building your skills across content strategy, UX writing, SEO, and accessibility. This position reports to the Director of Content Strategy. Key Responsibilities

Support end-to-end content strategies for website redesigns and builds, including audits, research, content planning, and execution Translate strategy into clear page structures, wireframe copy, and draft content Write and edit digital content with a focus on clarity, usability, accessibility, and brand voice Apply SEO and web writing best practices to improve performance and findability Collaborate with designers to develop holistic experiences that integrate content and visual design Manage content workflows, timelines, and deliverables for assigned projects for internal staff and clients Use content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore to create, manually migrate, and QA content Adapt to and maintain consistency across client brand voices and style guidelines Stay current on content trends, tools, and emerging technology, including AI, and apply learnings to client work Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in content strategy, digital content, UX writing, or a related field Experience in digital content, including hands-on content design and content entry work in content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore) Experience supporting website builds or redesigns Strong writing and editing skills (for digital platforms specifically—but we love a strong all-around writer) Highly organized with excellent planning and project management skills Comfort collaborating across disciplines and managing multiple priorities Familiarity with SEO fundamentals Curiosity, adaptability, positivity, and a growth-oriented mindset Knowledge and interest in AI innovations What We Offer
