Overview The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) of the District of Columbia seeks a

Communications Specialist

to promote the Office of Tax and Revenue’s Modernized Integrated Tax System and Taxpayer Access Portal (TAP). Salary: $62,159 – $96,554.

Responsibilities Write, copy edit, and research internal and external communications, including brochures, pamphlets, internal websites, and social media platforms.

Assist the Public Affairs Specialist in generating awareness of and educating taxpayers about the benefits of the new TAP portal.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Two (2) years of progressive work experience including creating visual designs and displays, developing written content, editing and producing professional materials, and researching information for documents, websites, and social media platforms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong written and verbal communication skills.
