Who we’re looking for: The Strategic Marketing Manager owns marketing strategy and execution to support Forge Health's growth, client retention, and brand elevation in behavioral health. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Growth, this builder role leads positioning, go-to-market planning, content, digital channels, and agency partnerships to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue, with required mental health care experience (IOP/patient care preferred). this position can be performed remotely, but the successful candidate will be located in NJ, NY, or PA. What you’ll be doing

Strategic leadership and planning Define and evolve Forge Health's positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for behavioral health services. Develop and execute marketing strategies across channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, revenue growth, and client retention. Identify near- and long-term growth opportunities; establish KPIs, monitor performance via analytics, and optimize based on results. Partner with growth, clinical, and operations stakeholders to align marketing with business priorities and continuous improvement. Go-to-market and campaign execution Own integrated go-to-market plans for IOPs and services, including content, digital channels (web/SEO, social media), and business development support. Translate service offerings and program updates into compelling, differentiated messaging; optimize website, SEO, and social content for credibility and growth. Create digital experiences using Google Analytics, Search Console, HubSpot, and social tools to drive measurable outcomes. Content and creative leadership Lead content strategy across print/digital, ensuring consistent brand voice; build scalable processes for high-quality production and distribution. Identify new content angles, formats, and opportunities to expand reach and differentiate Forge Health in behavioral health. Drive creative strategy, challenging conventions to strengthen brand positioning and client experience. Agency, vendor, and operations management Manage external agencies/vendors for on-brand initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategy, timelines, and performance goals. Oversee marketing operations, external communications (press/media), scalable workflows, and project management for efficient execution. What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. 7–10+ years of marketing experience, ideally in healthcare/behavioral health; mental health care required, IOP/patient care preferred. Hands-on with CRM, CMS, SEO, Google Analytics/Search Console, HubSpot, and social scheduling tools. Strong brand instincts, content rigor, and strategic thinking for fast-paced growth environments. Data-driven optimization using KPIs, analytics, and digital performance measurement. Excellent project management, independent execution, and cross-functional collaboration. Innovative creative leadership with deep understanding of LinkedIn/social media and behavioral health marketing. Why Forge?
