Rosewood Sand Hill is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the execution of integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen brand positioning, drive demand, and enhance guest engagement. Reporting to the Director of Communications, this role partners closely with Sales, Operations, and corporate brand and marketing teams to deliver thoughtful, performance-driven campaigns across digital, social, content, and experiential platforms. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—bringing a refined creative sensibility, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the luxury guest. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution: Work closely with Director of Communications and Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and support annual marketing plans that align with brand positioning and business goals. Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with leadership to support revenue-driving initiatives across rooms, dining, spa, and events. Brand & Content Management: Uphold the integrity of the hotel’s brand voice and visual identity across all consumer touchpoints. Brand & Content Management: Oversee and execute the creation of compelling content, campaigns, and storytelling that resonate with a luxury audience. Brand & Content Management: Manage website updates and content on Rosewood Sand Hill - Luxury Hotel Menlo Park including copy, photography, and landing page updates, working closely with corporate team for brand alignment. Brand & Content Management: Manage photo and video shoots to conform to brand standards to support corporate and local campaigns. Brand & Content Management: Manage performance-driven digital initiatives including SEO, SEM, email marketing, paid media, and website optimization. Adjust strategies as needed based on data-driven insights to improve results. Brand & Content Management: Oversee the hotel’s social media strategy, working with internal teams and agency partners to grow engagement and brand affinity. Brand & Content Management: Execute local promotions and campaigns to support various business units including food & beverage, weddings, spa, meetings & events. Brand & Content Management: Manage social media accounts for the hotel with relevant, on-brand content to enhance property positioning and drive engagement and acquisition. Brand & Content Management: Analyze performance data to measure ROI, optimize campaigns, and inform future strategy. Brand & Content Management: Present monthly marketing insights and reports to Director of Communications and the leadership team. Brand & Content Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Spa and F&B. Brand & Content Management: Work closely with corporate marketing and brand teams to align local initiatives with global strategy. CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Two to three years of marketing and digital/e-commerce experience; previous experience with a luxury/hospitality brand preferred. · Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and trends. · Proven success managing integrated marketing campaigns and working with premium brands. · Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills with the ability to interpret and adhere to brand standards. · An eye for design and creativity to communicate the hotel across digital platforms · Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams on property including operations, catering, and sales. · Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills. · Highly organized, collaborative, and adept at balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Knowledge of content management and email marketing platforms; previous experience using Adobe AEM platform and Photoshop/InDesign preferred. The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 annually. This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay. This position is eligible for bonus. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of hotel luxury experience, location, and education.
