Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, located in Delray Beach, FL. The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will assist in the daily operations of golf course maintenance, oversee turf and landscape management, manage irrigation systems, and ensure the effective application of pesticides and fertilizers. The role involves ensuring the course is maintained to the highest standards for members and guests, managing maintenance staff, and upholding safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in Turf Management and Golf Course Management

Strong proficiency in Irrigation systems and equipment operation

Experience in Landscape Maintenance and related horticultural practices

Knowledge and experience with safe and effective Pesticide application and storage

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Ability to work in diverse weather conditions

Degree, diploma, or certifications in Turfgrass Science, Agronomy, or a related field is preferred

Experience in a golf course or sports field environment is a plus
