The Office of Auditing and Performance Analysis (APA) conducts technical reviews in all industries, including financial, compliance, management, and operational analyses. APA analysts review utility-related records and data, providing independent verification of utility filings and statements. Responsibilities

The position will conduct comprehensive reviews of data used to prepare utility filings and perform independent analysis of the utility documents supporting the filing. The comprehensive review requires the position to compile, analyze, and verify data and communicate the results in writing. This is technical, analytical work involving complex regulatory filings such as recovery clauses, staff-assisted rate cases and other utility rate-setting proceedings. Minimum Qualifications

Four years of relevant work experience in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics or public administration is required. An associate degree and two years of relevant work experience OR a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university may be used as an alternative for the years of required experience. Special consideration will be given to applicants who are Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Certified Internal Auditors (CIAs), and those with the ability to review, analyze, and evaluate data and present conclusions in writing. Background investigations, including criminal history record checks and education verification, will be conducted on all applicants recommended for hiring.
