Overview Job Description

The Marketing Project Management Specialist role will help deliver on-time and on-budget marketing campaigns and programs. This role is the central point of coordination between the Marketing Shared Services team (creative, digital, paid media, marketing operations, etc.), Strategic Business Groups customer marketing teams (business marketing strategy) and third-party resources to deliver seamless execution of marketing campaigns, programs and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who brings attention to detail and customer-first mindset to their work.

You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Customer Marketing and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule (Monday-Wednesday in office). We are also open to candidates reporting to the Charlotte, NC office. Note: Candidate will work onsite M-F for the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Work with stakeholders to define project-level objectives, deliverables and scope

Develop detailed timelines with milestones and clear task assignments

Support Shared Services and third-party resource allocations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate cross-functional marketing teams to ensure on-time project delivery

Conduct status meetings and provide clear updates on project progress and risks

Workflow Optimization

Maintain a centralized marketing project hub using Workfront and Microsoft Office tools

Review deliverables for quality expectations including brand standards review

Identify potential bottlenecks or risks and implement contingency plans to prevent delays

Budget & Resource Management

Track project budgets and manage vendor relationships as needed

Optimize resource utilization to meet deadlines and objectives

Reporting & Analysis

Monitor project performance and provide post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement

Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership visibility

Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE

2 or more years of experience in marketing project management with significant people-facing responsibilities (client/account management)

Experience using Workfront and Microsoft Office tools

Ability to manage project risks and issues effectively

Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience

Marketing agency experience

Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign execution, and digital marketing channels

Experience working with cross-functional marketing teams (e.g., creative, digital, paid media) and/or agency partners

Proficiency in project management

Works effectively with others to identify and resolve issues including excellent people skills and successful interactions with all levels of management as well as a diverse workforce

Positive attitude and willingness to embrace change
