
Role Summary
Global Command Center (GCC) Performance Management Manager responsible for creating clear, trusted visibility into how the logistics organization performs against its goals. Works at the intersection of strategy and execution with operational leaders to assess initiative impacts, leverage data sources and reporting tools, and identify value-driven opportunities to improve logistics performance for Pfizers patients and customers. Responsibilities
Develop metrics and analyze data to monitor operational performance in logistics. Design and maintain operational reporting, and prepare business case analyses to support continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze and compare information from multiple sources to identify cause-and-effect relationships. Drive or support corrective and preventative action investigations. Lead meetings with a variety of stakeholders to investigate and improve identified drivers of logistics performance. Oversee the development of shipment-monitoring capabilities, both for tracking operational performance and for intervening in the event of in-transit risks. Support the Global Command Center e r's mission to enable product resilience in transit by partnering with cross-functional teams to define and implement new risk-management procedures. Provide guidance and lead/co-lead moderately complex projects, managing time and resources effectively, and apply skills and discipline knowledge to contribute to departmental work. Make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems, develop new options guided by policies in non-standard situations, and operate independently in ambiguous situations. Work independently, receive instruction on unusual or complex problems, determine objectives of assignments, and generally review your own work while seeking directional review from others. Exercise judgment utilizing knowledge and experience, potentially becoming a resource for others, and ensure timely delivery of products that meet stringent quality standards aligning with marketing and financial goals. Drive the execution and ongoing enhancement of standardized logistics processes and systems to fulfill customer needs, forecast resource requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement in logistics-related products, processes, or services. Foster collaboration and agreements among diverse teams, by designing and facilitating reviews of operational metric performance (visual management), and continuous improvement project pipeline (CI loop), enabled by data-backed insights. Design, develop, and deliver training programs and documentation, acting as the link between external logistics operations and internal operations. Qualifications
Required: A bachelors degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a masters degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR an associates degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience. Required: Significant experience in either logistics management, business intelligence, or operational performance management in a large global organization. Required: Proficiency in system validation and the software development lifecycle. Required: Strong analytical skills, including comfort with statistical interpretation, data modeling, and developing automated KPI dashboards. Required: Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to drive results with stakeholders at varying levels. Required: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as business intelligence and reporting software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Preferred: Formal training in mathematics, analytics, statistics, or data-focused disciplines (e.g., business analytics, applied statistics, operational reporting, etc.). Preferred: Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Preferred: Advanced training in project management, supply chain management, scientific or clinical disciplines, business administration, and/or people development. Preferred: Experience in leading global, cross-functional continuous improvement strategies. Preferred: Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity; interest in responsible AI practices including risk management and ethical use.
