Business Analyst
in
Marketing Finance Operations
|
Senior Domain Lead . The role is highly analytical and requires managing large data sets and reports, cross-functional work, and skip-level management. The ideal candidate will excel with large sets of manual and system data, be highly proficient in Excel and Power Query, have solid Power BI experience, ensure financial data accuracy, and streamline reporting processes. Strong business acumen and financial understanding are preferred. This position supports the studio finance lead in scoping and budget planning and manages ongoing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Prepares studio-wide financial and operational reports and data masters, ensuring timely daily/weekly and monthly reporting; maintains and releases weekly studio BI reports Ensures the appropriate level of accuracy in production reporting by working directly with business and production teams to validate and consolidate data, and by collaborating with account and operation managers Develops report visualizations through Power BI to enhance reporting efficiency, consolidating existing reports into dashboards Supports revamping or building new reports to support the financial and operational success of the studio Gathers and interprets financial and operational information by performing complex data modeling and financial analysis Performs deep dives and root-cause analysis at channel and project levels for variances Supports yearly scoping, budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes Owns IT hardware & software tracking; supports Gen AI investment planning and tracking Supports evaluating the fiscal impact of new business opportunities, strategies, and investments; handles highly complex work, analysis, ad hoc requests, and special projects with supervision Addresses other ad hoc requests and special projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of every year of education Minimum 9 years of experience related to the job description
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, profitability, cost management, and financial modeling Power Query and Power BI experience is a MUST; data mining and systems experience preferred (e.g., database management, use of pivot tables, and disparate data cleanup for analysis) Corporate marketing planning or management experience is highly valued; labor-based project cost planning is a plus Ability to work independently and prioritize projects while thriving in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with strong written and verbal communication skills Highly analytical with strong deep-dive and technical skills; ability to articulate complex analyses clearly Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
