THIS WOULD BE COVERING BAY AREA AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Position Overview: Uptive, an innovative and disrUPTIVE provider of Industry 4.0-related quick-turn custom manufacturing services with a comprehensive suite of both additive and traditional manufacturing technologies, is actively seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Representative to lead growth initiatives within a region/client base. As a Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Your role will encompass strategic sales initiatives, technical demonstrations, program management, and fostering enduring partnerships to further elevate our success in the industry. Responsibilities: Account Planning:

Develop strategies and tactics to execute on to grow named existing accounts Strategic Sales Initiatives:

Lead proactive sales prospecting leveraging an extensive client database to identify and cultivate new business opportunities. Market Penetration:

Develop and execute strategic hunting plans to expand Uptive's market presence and reach within the designated region. Consultative Approach:

Deliver value to the client by challenging assumptions, generating insights and making recommendations for change. Technical Expertise:

Conduct impactful technical demonstrations, showcasing the full spectrum of Uptive's manufacturing capabilities to potential clients. Client Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong client relationships, actively listening to their needs and align Uptive's solutions to address their unique manufacturing requirements. Maintain strict discipline in accurately updating information within the CRM system. Sales Cycle Management:

Navigate the sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and successful closure, ensuring seamless transition to the program management team. Program Oversight:

Collaborate with program management teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting client expectations and fostering long-term partnerships. Market Insights:

Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform Uptive's business strategies. Reporting and Forecasting:

Provide regular and accurate sales reports, and market insights to senior management. Travel Requirement: Up to travel requirement of up to 50% of your time to effectively cover your assigned region/accounts. Compensation and Benefits: This role offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary and a performance-based commission structure. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field. Proven track record of at least 2 years in sales roles, with a focus on complex manufacturing solutions, such as Rapid Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, CNC Machining, Sheet-Metal, Injection Molding, and related technologies. Strong technical acumen with effective communication skills for diverse audiences. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting client relationships. Results-driven mindset with a history of surpassing sales targets.
