Brown & Brown is seeking a Southeast Regional Personal Lines Leader to join our growing team. The Southeast Regional Personal Lines Leader supports the growth and success of Brown & Brown’s Personal Lines business across the Southeast region, including Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. This role focuses on developing strong sales practices, training teammates, and building long-term client and carrier relationships. The leader helps create a positive, high-energy sales culture by coaching producers, supporting client retention, and contributing to regional growth goals that meet or exceed budget expectations. This role combines leadership, sales strategy, relationship building, and hands-on client engagement within the risk management and insurance industry. The leaders also expected to engage in the local community at a high level.
How You Will Contribute
Create, define and execute a multi-year strategic business plan for the defined region focusing on sustainable organic growth in the Personal Lines space.
Execute the plan in conjunction with various stakeholders, including the Retail Senior Leader, Market and Office Leaders, and Personal Lines Leaders in the defined Region.
Strategic elements to include meeting or exceeding growth and revenue targets, customer acquisition and retention, value proposition and talent acquisition and management.
Lead and drive regional pipeline and revenue growth through partnerships with producers and supporting the closing of new business opportunities.
Engage local market and industry contacts to expand our network and promote the Brown & Brown brand and capabilities.
Lead the Super Regional carrier partnerships to ensure short and long term success.
Identify and address teammate training issues, succession planning and recruiting. Be a talent magnet in the defined Region.
Build relationships with our top customers and centers of influence within the defined Region, while working to expand these relationships to new growth opportunities for Brown & Brown.
Lead all training and development implementation for the team that supports capitalizing on all of Brown & Brown’s capabilities for our customers, while also delivering the service standards for the defined segment.
Licenses & Certifications
Valid Insurance Producer license in good standing (authorities in states needed to service the assigned book of business).
Skills & Experience To Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
7+ years’ experience in sales, client retention, or relationship management
Familiarity with insurance markets and professional business tools
Ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively across diverse audiences; skilled in active listening and building trust to support strong customer and team interactions.
Demonstrates a proactive, solutions‑focused approach to challenges; inspires and motivates others through adaptability and guides teams toward shared goals.
Able to manage multiple tasks in dynamic environments with strong organizational skills to balance competing priorities.
Works effectively within teams, remains open to feedback, and is committed to ongoing personal and professional growth; shares knowledge and supports teammates to achieve collective success.
Organized, detail‑focused, and comfortable leveraging business technology tools to improve efficiency.
Possesses deep understanding of private client insurance markets and sales strategies, and effectively applies this expertise to drive business growth.

Maintains an active presence in the local community and builds networks that strengthen brand reputation and customer trust.
This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
Pay Range $200,000 - $200,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
