What this job involves:
Play a critical role in managing, tracking, and optimizing operational technology assets across JLL-managed facilities to ensure alignment with operational excellence and client satisfaction standards. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of OT assets including hardware, software, and networked devices while maintaining data integrity and compliance with JLL's asset management standards. This position combines technical expertise in building management systems with strategic asset optimization to support facility operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What your day-to-day will look like
Maintain accurate records of all operational technology assets including hardware, software, and networked devices ensuring data integrity and compliance standards
Oversee complete lifecycle management of OT assets from acquisition through deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning with timely updates and replacements
Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of OT asset inventories to identify discrepancies, optimize utilization, and support financial reporting requirements
Collaborate with facility managers, IT, and engineering teams to coordinate asset-related activities and support project implementations
Generate and analyze comprehensive asset management reports providing insights on performance, risks, and improvement opportunities
Ensure all OT assets comply with regulatory, safety, and cybersecurity requirements including patch management support for firmware and software updates
Serve as point of contact for Building Technology Enterprise Support team and Utility-Net VPN user account management and troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management, or related technical field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in asset management, building automation systems, or operational technology environments
Demonstrated expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) applications and functionality
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and patch management processes for operational technology systems
Experience with asset management software systems and database management for inventory tracking and reporting
Excellent analytical skills with ability to conduct audits, reconciliations, and generate meaningful reports from complex data
Strong collaboration skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including IT, engineering, and facility management
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications in facility management, building automation, or cybersecurity (CFM, CEM, CISSP, etc.)
Experience with Building Technology Asset Management Systems (BTAMS) or similar enterprise asset management platforms
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for operational technology in commercial real estate environments
Understanding of industry trends and best practices in building technology and smart building systems
Experience managing vendor relationships and service provider contracts for building technology systems
Strong project management skills with ability to support multiple implementations simultaneously
Excellent documentation and communication skills for audit preparation and stakeholder reporting
