
TheMember Service Specialist serves in the Field Operations Department and reports directly to a Regional Manager located in one of theregional offices. This role is the “Office Champion” and is responsible for handling front-office duties and serves as the primary prospect and member-facing role at the branch. The Member Service Specialist interfaces with members on a regular basis to address inquiries, resolve issues, maintain accounts, and provides assistance on a wide range of credit and administrative tasks. Additionally, this position plays a key role in regional office operations by managing day-to-day administrative duties and coordinating internal and external member related events.
Responsibilities/Duties
Provide day-to-day support to members and prospects by answering calls, assisting walk-ins, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff.
Promote and cross-sell products and services to members based on identified needs.
Maintain and update prospect/member relationship databases and mailing lists.
Monitor regional loan reports (delinquency, UCC-1, paid loans, real estate tax) and take appropriate action, including member contact and reporting findings.
Gather and organize year-end financial statements from loan members.
Maintain and update loan accounts, including processing receipts/disbursements, correcting account errors, and verifying transactions.
Coordinate office administration: schedule meetings, manage office supplies, process invoices, and maintain equipment/building upkeep.
Organize and attend member/community events; support marketing initiatives and facilitate event notifications.
Participate in committees, special projects, and required training as assigned.
Required Skills
General knowledge of accounting principles, practices and methods
Working knowledge of credit processing processes and procedures

Oral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor, prospects, and members
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and 3 years of related work experience;
Or equivalent education, experience, and skillset sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
