Business Development Executive
role is designed for a confident hunter who knows how to open doors, navigate technical conversations, and earn the trust of decision-makers. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, working with solutions that protect people, property, and operations across diverse environments. Responsibilities
Develop new relationships with organizations that rely on dependable, integrated systems to run safely and efficiently Prospect consistently through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach Expand existing accounts by identifying new use cases and long term needs Own your pipeline and forecast activity with discipline and accuracy Sell Consultatively
Lead discovery conversations to understand operational challenges, risk exposure, and growth plans Translate technical concepts into clear, business focused value for non technical buyers Design tailored solutions that balance performance, compliance, and budget Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to executive and facility level stakeholders Work with clients operating in complex facilities, campuses, logistics environments, and public facing spaces Adapt your approach based on how each organization measures risk, uptime, and accountability Stay current on evolving standards, best practices, and system capabilities Partner Internally
Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to scope solutions accurately Share market feedback and competitive insights to strengthen positioning Represent the organization professionally in every interaction Experience needed to hit the ground running
You come from low-voltage systems integration or technical solution sales You are comfortable selling projects and long term solutions, not commodity products You know how to hunt and do not rely on inbound leads You can engage with operations leaders, facility managers, and executives You manage your time, territory, and pipeline like a business What you need to have walking into the role on day one
Three or more years of B2B sales experience in a technical or systems driven environment Experience selling complex solutions involving hardware, software, or infrastructure Ability to travel locally with occasional overnight trips Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but real world experience matters All Applicants Must be Eligible to work in the US with no restrictions or sponsorship requirements. This role is located in Kansas City, and candidates must reside in the area for consideration, as our client does not offer relocation. Thank you!
