Job Summary The Brand Manager will assist in developing and implementing tactics for Sun’s commercialized Ophthalmics innovative medicines.
Responsibilities
Support marketing initiatives, focused on healthcare practitioners and patients which will be delivered via the sales force as well as “non-personal” channels such as the internet, direct mail, congresses, and advertising
Budget development, monitoring and management including monthly and year end accruals, with oversight of invoice processing and SOWs
Regular interaction with advertising and medical communication agencies and frequent contact with the field sales organization
Assist with progressing new projects through concept, development, cross-functional review, production and dissemination
Manage non-personal promotion programs from ideation through creation, approval and dissemination
Manage medical congress interface with Meetings Center of Excellence to represent Brand needs, develop promotional strategy and execute materials for key medical congress meetings
Engage with KOLs and customers for key brand initiatives
Work collaboratively with other product managers and key functional stakeholders across the Sun organization
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) with 1+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical sales, marketing or advertising agency
3 – 5 years professional experience in same or related field
Therapeutic knowledge preferred, but not required
Comfortable with fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Strong management, project management and planning skills, and comfortable making decisions and embracing changes
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in matrix organizational structure
Self-motivated, able to work independently and prioritize tasks
Outcome orientation and a strong desire to plan to measure the success of initiatives
Motivated by team success and seek to develop collaborative relationships from internal and external stakeholders
Microsoft Outlook including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to travel approximately 30%
Compensation and Benefits The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $106,500 to $130,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
