Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Director Giants Baseball Camps is now hiring a Site Director for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout the Bay Area.
Giants Summer Camps is looking for a Site Director who is energetic, positive, and loves to inspire youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions—all while having a great time! We provide equipment, training, and curriculum; you provide the leadership that will help campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for personal accountability.
We have a variety of positions – from Coach to Site Director – and need a mix of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13.
Work outdoors with young campers and connect with others who share similar interests.
Share knowledge of baseball/softball with campers and enhance their Giants Camps experience.
Make a positive difference in the lives of our youth.
Help young people develop a love of the game and the San Francisco Giants.
Participate in our end‑of‑summer rally at Oracle Park.
We are looking for Site Directors who:
Are an experienced leader, self‑starter, and excellent communicator.
Are passionate about creating a positive impact on the lives of children, families, coaches, and the local community.
Have experience working with children ages 4-13.
Have experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher.
Have a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way.
Are able to connect with children both one‑on‑one and in a group setting.
Are acutely aware of physical and emotional safety and can problem‑solve in real time.
Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude.
Are dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what.
Thrives on providing candid feedback to team members, helping them grow personally and professionally.
Know how to have a lot of fun!!
Core Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers.
Supervise, manage, and motivate staff and campers, ensuring a high‑level experience.
Execute San Francisco Giants Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director.
Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games.
Highlight teachable moments for campers and coaches to learn and grow from.
Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Giants Baseball Camps stellar reputation.
Qualifications for the Site Director position:
Be prepared to make a 10‑week commitment Monday‑Friday for approximately eight hours per day
Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026
Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own.
Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening.
Be a polished professional with demonstrated leadership ability.
At times be responsible for driving a rented cargo van and having a safe space to park it (Giants Baseball & Softball Camps covers the cost of fuel for the van associated with work/camp use only).
At a minimum, you must be familiar with the basic fundamentals of baseball.
Have experience and comfort with technology to ensure efficient camp operations.
Camp Locations include:
San Francisco – West Sunset and Balboa Park
Larkspur – Redwood High School and Piper Park
Redwood City – Red Morton Park
Orinda – Wagner Ranch Elementary
San Jose – Herman Intermediate School
Elk Grove – Johnson Park Recreation
Rocklin – Johnson Springview Park
Folsom – John Kemp Community Park
Sacramento – William Land Park

Compensation: Pay is based on skill level and experience. The weekly range for this position is $1,360 to $1,600 per week.
