What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Prepare and approve renewals for accounts while focusing on profitability and retention
Leverage negotiation skills to obtain adequate rates based on established guidelines
Collaborate with underwriters and agents throughout the renewal process
Review and assess risk profiles of accounts for renewal eligibility
Provide support for branch departments, including report analysis and policy inquiries
What is Required (Qualifications)
Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum of one year of insurance industry experience or related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft products and good personal computer skills
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of insurance industry experience
General knowledge of insurance terminology
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
