who is a "Strategic Generalist"—someone who can perform deep market research, craft data-backed messaging, and lead a high-performing team to execute a nationwide growth strategy. In this role, you aren’t just running ads; you are a

Business Unit Partner . You will work alongside the Sales and Innovation teams to identify unmet customer needs and drive the expansion of our contractor network. As an employee-owned company, we look for leaders who "Own It" and want to drive long-term equity value for the entire team.

Core Functions

Market Strategy & Insights:

Act as the subject matter expert on construction audience segments. Conduct analysis of competitors and industry trends to build quarterly priorities and annual growth plans.

Channel Support:

Drive the growth of our nationwide General Contractor (GC) network. Develop messaging and value propositions that resonate with contractors and developers in the commercial and industrial sectors.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

Lead the marketing business unit across all facets: brand, content, digital, and events. Develop performance metrics and mentor the team toward career advancement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with the Sales and Innovation teams to educate staff on product positioning and provide feedback on underserved segments or new product opportunities.

Culture Advocacy:

Promote a high-trust, "Open-Book" management culture, operating with the company’s core values: Own It, Can Do, and Act in Love.

Required Qualifications

Industry Experience:

5+ years in B2B marketing within construction trades, industrial markets, manufacturing, or multi-tier sales channels (building materials preferred).

Strategic Background:

5+ years of experience in product marketing, integrated marketing, or corporate strategy.

Research & GTM:

3+ years of experience conducting primary/secondary market research and leading new product launches.

Partnership Management:

2+ years working with industry associations on sponsorships, education, and trade events.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related field.
