Capital One Travel (COT) is a challenger to established legacy credit card travel franchises. In just 3 years, COT has emerged as the 3rd largest credit card travel franchise in the US. COT has a mandate to move fast and pursue big-ambitious goals. This role falls under the broader ‘Customer Segments’ organization which is responsible for setting a clear vision, ensuring a connected customer experience, and driving growth across our customer segments - both Consumer and Business. COT’s current FinTech offerings, such as “Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)” and “Flight Disruption Assistance (FDA)” offer customers unmatched flexibility and peace of mind. This role will lead the operation of existing Fintech products and the development of new and innovative features to expand and enhance our offerings and deliver more value to customers.” This person will be dedicated to exploring and executing high-risk/high-reward opportunities that could fundamentally change Capital One Travel’s flexibility offerings. This Product Manager will lead the research and concept validation for entirely new Flexibility products and features. Responsibilities

Proactively seek out and investigate new, large-scale opportunities that have the potential to drive significant value to customers and sustainable future growth for Capital One Travel. Conduct market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and customer research to fully understand customer expectations and competitor offerings. Balance business opportunities with customer needs, ensuring that new product concepts solve real problems for the user. Function as an internal consultant and gain buy-in by effectively communicating customer value and business potential to core product, risk and delivery teams who are responsible for final execution. Take ownership of ideas and build the strategic and evidential case required to turn ideas into reality, while also managing execution of those ideas. Management/Team Context

At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related quantitative field) A Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product Management New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Manager, Product Management Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
