Trade Assurance Specialist

to join our dynamic team in

Shelton, CT (Hybrid) . In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our compliance programs, leading audits, driving training initiatives, and championing continuous improvement across the enterprise. The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university preferred Previous management/leadership experience strongly desired Previous experience leading an audit program Experience with SAP and / the SAP GTS module a plus Understanding of and experience with Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. Treasury Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) would be a plus Willingness to travel as needed (less than 25%) Audit experience highly preferred. Execute audit program for Trade Compliance, to include: Maintain Training Program Ensure high-risk and high-volume sites are trained annually on export and import compliance Develop formal training plan for the enterprise Lead awareness initiatives for the enterprise Create and modify policies and procedures Create and modify work instructions Work with Export and Import teams to deploy audit and training resources and tools Enhance Trade Compliance processes through the use of continuous improvement tools Ready to take the next step in your career?
