Responsibilities
Provide an industry leading client service experience both in person and on the phone through development and expansion of new and existing client relationships.
Provide financial solutions that meet client needs based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional growth opportunities.
Be cross trained to perform required teller duties as needed.
Follow established routines and contribute to team sales processes by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex needs to internal specialists.
Engage in ongoing sales training and product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients.
Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications when appropriate.
Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes to ensure compliance.
Create a consistent client service experience by engaging clients with courteous interactions while conducting transactions and identifying needs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of client sales and service experience
Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background checks and ongoing regulatory requirements
Ability to multi-task under time constraints
Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignments or locale changes
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included
Preferred Qualifications :
Associate degree or higher
Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor with a high level of service quality
Experience discussing, recommending and selling deposit, credit and retirement products to clients
History of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures
