Job Description
The Commercial Management Team (CMT) within Publicis Media plays an important role in the success of New Business and Agency commercials. This central team is responsible for establishing commercial strategies, value offers and contracts that drive value. Responsible for developing commercials for staffing and remuneration, tools and technology, and performance incentive plans. We are seeking a driven individual, with a background in Media, Retail Media, Creative, Production, PR or CRM. A healthy knowledge of strategy, investment, or finance is essential. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong commercial judgment, financial rigor, and leadership instincts. You'll own critical workstreams end-to-end, partner closely cross-functionally with senior stakeholders throughout Publicis Groupe, and help elevate both the quality of our proposals and the performance of our team.
This position offers an unmatched opportunity to work closely with agency leadership, and across all agency brands, to inform commercial decision-making and drive success. The ideal candidate has worked in a strategic capacity, is collaborative within a team environment and has a proven record of problem solving and implementing workflow processes.
Responsibilities
Shape the commercial narrative by translating client objectives and RFPs into clear commercial approaches Build, package, and deliver commercial strategy for new business pitch or existing client renewal proposals In partnership with agency Finance teams and other pitch collaborators, recommend staffing models, pricing logic, and value opportunities Drive global & cross-functional alignment by leading or supporting global pitch coordination across multiple markets Oversee and support global, regional and local market briefings, on-going communication and client follow-ups; synthesize inputs into one cohesive offer Review and validate staffing summaries, commercial offers, and executive-level summaries; ensuring proposals are client-ready Ensure alignment and consistency across presentations, remuneration models, financial logic, supporting documentation and templates Develop holistic value proposals that quantify and clearly articulate the value of talent, tools, technology, gratis agency investments, and added value Partner to develop risk/reward incentive structures for leadership review Anticipate commercial risks and proactively propose solutions Coach and develop Manager-level talent by setting a high bar for ownership, accountability, rigor, and quality. Provide real-time guidance during pitch cycles. Support Manger-level goal setting, performance feedback, and development planning Oversee commercial processes and documentation standards across Salesforce, trackers, and folder archives Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve ways of working Core Competencies
Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to connect or optimize pricing, staffing, and value within commercial offers Comfort operating in ambiguity and making sound decisions with limited information Client-facing expertise Exceptional attention to detail and pride in error-free client-facing materials and deliverables Clear, confident communicator across levels and disciplines Collaborative leader who enjoys coaching and elevating others Qualifications
6-8+ years of agency or equivalent experience across Commercials, Finance, Strategy or Investment Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Salesforce experience a plus but not required Experience working across Media, Production, and Creative practices is preferred Proven experience leading new business pitches or complex commercial proposals Experience managing client and/or procurement relationships Exposure to global or regional projects involving multiple markets is a plus but not required Bachelor's degree required

Compensation Range: $106,780 - $170,937 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
