POSITION SUMMARY: The Kitchen Leadoversees the daily operations of a restaurant's kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient food preparation, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and managing kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in overseeing food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and standards. Help in managing inventory levels, ordering food and supplies, and controlling food costs. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations, and ensuring proper food storage and handling. Overseeing the maintenance and proper functioning of kitchen equipment. Communicating effectively with other restaurant staff, including front-of-house and management, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
