JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a senior-level contractor to lead the technology delivery and execution of our mobile and backend platforms. This role oversees engineering teams-including architects, developers, and leads-and ensures high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions across our digital ecosystem. Role will be responsible for the technical architecture, development, and operational excellence of mobile apps and supporting backend services, while collaborating closely with product, design, and program functions.
Key Responsibilities Lead delivery of scalable mobile and backend solutions aligned to enterprise architecture and business goals Manage technical teams across architecture, engineering, and delivery Oversee development standards, code quality, CI/CD, and release processes Collaborate with product and UX teams; ensure backend systems support user experience needs Drive cloud-native design, service-oriented architecture, and modernization initiatives Ensure systems meet performance, security, and operational requirements Qualifications
15+ years in software engineering and technology leadership roles Strong experience leading mobile app development (iOS/Android) and backend platforms Deep knowledge of APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud (AWS preferred) Proven success leading technical teams and delivering in agile environments Clear communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills Understands and values good UX, though not responsible for design or requirements gathering Tech Environment
