Summary

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Purchasing Director to lead our purchasing operations, optimize supply chain processes, and drive cost-effective sourcing initiatives. This pivotal role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the seamless procurement of materials essential for our healthcare communities. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, expert knowledge of purchasing/procurement systems and software's like SAP and DDSI, and a passion for enhancing supply chain efficiency in a dynamic healthcare setting.

This position will work out of our corporate office located in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Monday through Friday position typically 9am to 5pm.

Starting negotiable salary for this position is $50,000.

Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on cost savings and quality improvement. Lead sourcing activities across categories such as materials management, manufacturing supplies, and logistics to ensure reliable supply chain operations. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining compliance with federal regulations. Oversee procurement management systems and platforms to streamline purchasing workflows. Manage supplier relationships through performance evaluations, root cause analysis of supply issues, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with production planning teams to align procurement schedules with community needs and demand forecasts. Conduct market analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and enhance overall supply chain resilience. Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in procurement management within healthcare or manufacturing environments. Strong expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and category management. Proficiency in ERP systems Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to perform root cause analysis for supply disruptions or quality issues. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus. Join us as we drive excellence in healthcare procurement!
