Take Time Off

Job Summary

Walker Tape Company is seeking a creative and organized Social Media Specialist to support the execution of our social media strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest. This role works closely with the Senior Creative Marketing Manager and the Marketing team to bring creative concepts and business goals to life through engaging, on-brand content that grows our audience, strengthens brand awareness, and supports revenue growth. In addition to content creation and community engagement, the Social Media Specialist will assist with project coordination and administrative tasks to help ensure marketing initiatives are executed efficiently and consistently.

What You'll Do

Social Media & Content Execution

Create, schedule, publish, and manage content across all Walker Tape social media platforms Write platform-appropriate copy that aligns with brand voice and campaign goals Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute social media campaigns and promotions Capture, edit, and publish short-form videos, tutorials, and behind-the-scenes content Assist with influencer collaborations, including outreach, coordination, and content tracking Monitor comments, messages, and user-generated content to support engagement Research social trends and platform updates, sharing insights with the team Track performance, analyze KPIs, and report on content and campaign effectiveness Maintain weekly and monthly editorial calendars Support affiliate marketing efforts, including onboarding affiliates, sharing assets, and tracking performance Collaborate with influencers and creators to source authentic, on-brand content Coordinate creator campaigns from outreach through content delivery and posting timelines Project Coordination & Support

Support photoshoots and video productions by coordinating photographers, models, locations, and schedules Assist with sourcing and managing creative vendors Help manage timelines, budgets, and project details across marketing initiatives Own some meeting coordination, notes, and follow-ups as needed Support blog and email marketing efforts when needed What We're Looking For

2-3 years of experience in social media management or content creation Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, New Media, or related field (preferred) Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail Hands-on experience with photography and basic videography Experience using video editing tools (iMovie, CapCut, or similar) Familiarity with social analytics tools and performance tracking Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once Positive, collaborative, and adaptable attitude Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
