Do you live and breathe music, pop culture, and all things Disney? Disney Music Group (DMG) is the music hub for The Walt Disney Company, encompassing all aspects of music commercialization and marketing: recorded music (Walt Disney Records and Hollywood Records), Disney Music Publishing, and Disney Concerts. DMG distributes music both physically and digitally and also licenses music throughout the world in various forms of media including television, print, gaming, and consumer products!
We're seeking a motivated, curious intern to join our Disney Branded & General Entertainment Marketing teams, where you'll help drive music campaigns for brands across the company's diverse artist roster spanning pop, indie, rock, R&B and hip hop and soundtrack business including Disney Studios, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Disney Animation, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, 20th Century Studios, ESPN, and Disney Parks. You'll also contribute to initiatives for Disney Concerts, Disney Music Emporium, and the Disney Hits SiriusXM channel, gaining hands-on experience at the center of entertainment, storytelling, and music marketing.
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through August 2026.
What You Will Do
Support the Branded and General Entertainment Marketing teams across a wide range of marketing initiatives, including asset coordination and distribution
Collaborate with the Disney Hits SiriusXM marketing team to ideate themed programming and curate on-air hourly playlists
Contribute creative ideas to Marvel Music initiatives in partnership with the Disney Live Action team
Work closely with the General Entertainment Soundtrack team to execute visibility campaigns and brand activations
Support the Hollywood Records artist marketing team on release initiatives, including audience growth strategies, out-of-home activations, and tour marketing efforts
Assist with marketing and promotional support for Disney Music Emporium, the online destination for collectible and limited-edition releases from the Disney Music catalog
Required Qualifications & Skills
Familiarity with Marketing, communications, branding and/or creative asset development.
Familiarity with music streaming service(s) such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music or similar program
Experience with using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience (academic or internship) in related industry
Education
Major or previous coursework in Marketing or related field
Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Internship Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship?
Be at least 18 years of age?
Possess unrestricted work authorization?
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through August 2026
Fully available to work 40 hours per week during a Monday through Friday schedule
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program? in the Burbank, California area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work?
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
