divh2Collateral Specialist/h2pFLSA Status: Non-Exempt/ppDepartment: Loan Operations/ppHours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, start and end times may vary/ppGeneral Job Summary: Process and set up collateral records, ticklers and clearing of loan exception as well as perfecting the banks collateral position./ppOrganizational Duties and Responsibilities: Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures. Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliSystem set up of collateral records and ticklers/liliLien perfection of titles, UCCs, mortgages and any other collateral taken/liliClearing of loan exceptions/liliFile loan documents in file room and review collateral documents for completeness prior to sending to jurisdiction for perfection/liliOther duties as assigned/liliProvide highest level of quality service/liliCustomer contact with internal and external customers/li/ulpOther Functions:/pulliAssist any personnel as needed/liliWork closely with all personnel in Loan Operations/liliBe able to make decisions within limits set within the Loan Operations Department/li/ulpMinimum Job Requirements:/ppEducation: Completion of four years of high school or equivalent required/ppExperience: Previous loan processing preferred, preferably one to two years/ppSpecific Skills:/pulliGeneral banking specific to loan processing is preferred/liliRequires attention to detail/liliAbility to effectively communicate with internal and external customer, co-workers and management/liliHigh level of organization and attention to accuracy and detail is required/liliStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with tact, discretion, and diplomacy/li/ulpSpecialized: Knowledge of Premier Navigator preferred/ppPhysical requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
