This critical role is responsible for managing inbound customer inquiries and RFQs, preparing accurate and competitive quotations, and providing technical sales support across our engineered-to-order electrical power equipment portfolio. The ideal candidate combines strong electrical product knowledge with exceptional customer service and a high level of accuracy and responsiveness./ppJob Responsibilities/pulliServe as the primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries and RFQs via phone, email, and other channels./liliDevelop accurate, competitive quotations for InPowers low-voltage power distribution and control portfolio, including:/liulliUL 891 Switchboards/liliUL 845 Motor Control Centers (MCCs)/liliUL 1008 Transfer Switches (ATS)/liliUL 67 Panelboards/liliUL 508A / UL 698A / UL 1203 Control Panels (as applicable)/li/ulliReview and interpret one-lines, specifications, and drawings to confirm key requirements such as voltage, ampacity, AIC/SCCR, protective device/breaker type, enclosure/NEMA rating, metering/controls, options/accessories, documentation requirements, and testing/FAT needs./liliCollaborate with outside sales, engineering, and operations to ensure scope clarity, manufacturability, schedule alignment, and a seamless handoff from quote to execution./liliCoordinate with OEM partners, vendors, and manufacturers to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical data; recommend acceptable alternates/substitutions when allowed./liliBuild customer-facing proposals that clearly communicate inclusions/exclusions, assumptions, alternates, lead time, and commercial terms./liliMaintain excellent CRM hygiene: ensure every opportunity/quote is logged with complete customer info, scope notes, stage/status, owner, next step, due dates, activities, win/loss notes, and all supporting documents (RFQ package, drawings, vendor quotes, and proposal versions)./liliExecute consistent follow-up on open quotations to convert opportunities into orders; capture win/loss feedback and competitive insights./liliSupport proposal preparation, order processing, and project documentation (submittal coordination support, change documentation, order entry support, etc.) as needed./li/ulpJob Requirements/ppRequired Qualifications/pulli35+ years of experience in the electrical industry (inside sales, estimating, applications, project coordination, or similar)./liliStrong working knowledge of low-voltage power distribution equipment (switchboards/switchgear, MCCs, ATS, panelboards, and control panels)./liliAbility to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, specifications, and technical drawings./liliStrong attention to detail with proven ability to produce accurate quotes under time constraints./liliProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./liliHighly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliExperience using CRM systems and quoting/CPQ tools./liliFamiliarity with relevant standards and terminology (preferred): UL 891, UL 845, UL 1008, UL 67, UL 508A, UL 698A, UL 1203; NEMA enclosure ratings and general NEC concepts./liliKnowledge of major manufacturers/brands in power distribution and controls (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Eaton, Allen-Bradley, SEL, etc.)./liliPrior experience in an engineered-to-order manufacturer, distributor, or manufacturer rep environment./li/ulpEssential Job Function/ppAll Current is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
