4:30 PM/ppstrongMajor Duties and Responsibilities/strong/pulliA Brokerage CSR will be expected to ensure timely and accurate operations while providing exceptional customer service within the Brokerage Department./liliEnsure a smooth and timely customs process flow for all customs related activities/liliDaily execution of workflow and department metrics/liliTransfer declaration information from commercial documents, or other sources into our customs entry system/liliAccurate and timely data entry to allow for the build of a complete US Customs declaration/liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with the customers and government organizations/liliEnsure compliance to regulations at all times, both internal and external/liliTrack and Trace shipments for valid data transmission to US customs and Partner Government Agencies/liliUnderstand customer expectation to ensure all the elements of the SOP and KPIs are met/liliIdentify and manage exceptions while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement/liliEffectively manage and organize emails for timely follow up/li/ulpstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/pulliHigh School Degree or equivalent required/liliSuccessful candidates must pass a background check/liliMust be legally authorized to work in the United States/liliMust not require future sponsorship for employment visa/liliFluent in English, both written and verbal./liliMust have the ability to work overtime in support of the departments needs/liliMust be able to commute to the city of Jurupa or Torrance, CA/liliComfortable with numbers and basic mathematical skills/liliComfortable working in an office environment/li/ulpstrongDesired Qualifications/strong/pulliCustomer Service: 6 months to 1 year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required.
