The Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) will provide a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers, primarily face-to-face, supporting their branch and rental needs. The CAR Sr will gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide administrative support, service customers, and act as a rental back-up in a large home city branch or airport location./ppThis role is for our office located at: 835 BOSTON POST RD, WEST HAVEN, CT 06516-1835/ppThis is a full-time position with a starting rate of pay $17.50/hr./ppThe schedules available are:/ppMonday- 7:30am-6:15pm (1-hr break)/ppTuesday- 7:30am-6:15pm (1-hr break)/ppWednesday- OFF/ppThursday- 7:30am-12:30pm/ppFriday- 7:30am-6:15pm (1-hr break)/ppSaturday- 8:45am-1:15pm/ppSunday- OFF/ppWe offer a robust Benefits Package including, but not limited to:/pulliPaid time off/liliEmployee discount/liliRetirement savings plan/liliExtended Health Benefits (Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental and Vision)/liliLife Insurance/liliTraining and development/li/ulpWe are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:/pulliTake incoming calls- reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops and other vendors/liliManage outgoing calls for callback management, A/Rs and miscellaneous calls as assigned/liliProvide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and over the phone/liliMeet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner/liliProvide directions and general assistance/liliAssist to assess condition of rental upon return/liliProcess returns, check-ins and exit kiosk transactions/liliEffectively market the company while picking up customers up and/or dropping off customer in a safe and courteous manner and assisting customers as needed/liliUnderstand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services/liliMay sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipment/liliResponsible for notifying Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance/liliClean vehicle interior and exterior by hand or by operating washing equipment when needed/liliPerform various administrative and basic accounting functions such as: research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, transfer and key logs, run miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, process customer billing/liliPerform miscellaneous and backup duties job-related duties as assigned/li/ulpEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans/ppMust be at least 18 years old./ppHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.
