This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about design, thrives in a customer-first environment, and enjoys engaging with customers./ph3Responsibilities/h3pCreate a warm, engaging, and personalized shopping experience for every customer./ppActively listen to customer needs and provide thoughtful product recommendations and styling advice./ppDemonstrate product knowledge and confidently communicate features, benefits, and value./ppDrive sales by suggesting complementary items and sharing current promotions./ppStay informed about current promotions, new arrivals, and product features./ppMaintain a visually appealing and organized sales floor that reflects our brand standards./ppRestock merchandise and ensure displays are neat and well-presented./ppOperate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle returns or exchanges./ppMaintain a clean, organized store./ppCollaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards./ppResolve customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach./ppFollow all company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention./ppPerform other duties as necessary./ph3Qualifications/h3pPrevious retail or customer service experience preferred but not required./ppEnergetic, people and results oriented, competitive with a drive to succeed./ppAbility to effectively communicate both written and verbally./ppAbility to work independently as well as part of a team./ppPassion for home decor and a keen eye for design./ppSelf-motivated, dependable, and team oriented./ppAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals./ppAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of the store, including evenings, weekends, and holidays./ppMust be able to ascend/descend a ladder to retrieve and stock products on the shelf or to hang overhead banners/product./ppFrequently positions self to retrieve and stock products in the stock room and sales floor and to place merchandise in bags./ppMust be able to constantly move around the store for prolonged periods to greet and assist customers./ppMust be able to frequently communicate with the customers in person, electronically, and telephonically./ppMust be able to frequently move merchandise that is 50 pounds or more to and from the stockroom to sales floor./ppMust be able to operate a Point-of-Sale system, registers and handheld devices efficiently and accurately./p/div
