As a UI/UX Designer, you will create intuitive, user-centered designs, identify and prioritize product needs, and collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible, results-oriented and have a desire to build their career at Kimley-Horn./ppThis is an in-office position./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliDesign and support existing and emerging software products in Kimley-Horns portfolio/liliCollaborate with product teams to understand customer needs and pain points, and translate those insights into functional requirements. Produce high quality design deliverables, including user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that are intuitive, on-brand and meet functionality requirements/liliDocument design decisions and specifications to ensure alignment across development and QA teams./liliConduct user research and usability testing analyze user behaviors, validate design decisions and improve user experience./liliStay informed on industry trends and apply best practices in UI/UX design and accessibility standards./liliPartner with cross-functional teams including software developers, QA, product owners, and engineers to ensure the seamless implementation of user-centric designs./liliThrive as part of a specialized Product Development team and play a central role in shaping our brands evolution within the product space/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBA/BS in Graphic Design, Human-Centered Design, or a similar field/lili2+ years of related work experience/liliProficiency in Figma and FigJam/liliBasic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office/liliProactive self-starter with the ability to work independently/liliExcellent visual design skills with an emphasis on clean, modern aesthetic/liliExcellent organization and time management skills/liliNatural collaborator with strong verbal and written communication skills/liliTeam player with a positive, solution-seeking attitude and a high sense of personal responsibility/li/ulpstrongPreferred Technical Experience:/strong/pulliUI/UX or Product Design certification through bootcamp/liliExperience with accessibility standards is a plus/liliA blend of creativity and technical understanding, allowing you to visualize designs that are both striking and feasible./li/ulpPlease provide a copy or link to your portfolio with related work samples./ph3Why Kimley-Horn?/h3pAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
