Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 am - 5 pm plus a Saturday every other month 7:30am-12pm. Pay: $20-24 based on experience. Responsibilities include providing advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs, processing orders via order management system, operating cash registers and following established cash handling procedures, preparing and staging orders for customer pick up, maintaining store appearance and merchandising standards as advised, ensuring that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas, maintaining a safe working environment including PPE (personal protective equipment), and adhering to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications include 1-5 years of customer service experience preferred, 1 year of HVAC counter sales experience preferred, general computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, general math skills to allow for cash accounting, an ability to learn is a must have, and excellent decision making and communication skills. Pre-employment drug and background screening required. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
