divh2Sales Representative/h2pMultiple openings are available for sales representatives. The role involves presenting, following up, and selling Individual Medicaid, Essential Plan, QHP, and CHP products on a direct sales basis. Responsibilities include assisting and enrolling individuals by completing application forms, obtaining required documentation, and meeting enrollment targets. Home visits and other appointments are necessary to complete applications and obtain all required documentation. Candidates must develop and maintain a thorough understanding of health care products related to sales responsibilities and successfully complete periodic certification and testing. The role also involves maintaining appointments, establishing relationships with community-based organizations, participating in health-related activities, and providing services to walk-ins. Stimulates word-of-mouth referrals from participants, prospects, and their families. Utilizes automated tools for individual enrollment duties and refers existing members for recertification. Functions as a liaison between EmblemHealth departments to identify and capture prospect problems or concerns. Assists members with selecting a Primary Care Physician (PCP) using the provider directory. Presents EmblemHealth insurance products and benefit plans to community groups, small businesses, and other prospective subscribers. Develops and executes a sales plan focusing on the growth of individual products in the assigned neighborhood. Maintains and grows a book of enrollments through on-site coverage at hospitals, provider offices, City agencies, community business partners, and Community Based Organizations (CBOs). All activities are entered into the Salesforce tool./ppQualifications required include a high school diploma or equivalent, four years of relevant sales experience, a drivers license and automobile with appropriate coverage for territories such as Long Island, Staten Island, Westchester, etc., and travel in the New York metropolitan area. Must be able to work nights and weekends as required. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, the ability to work independently, excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, the ability to develop strong relationships and influences in the community, the ability to input and update data in a database system, the ability to work independently and produce self-generated leads, and the ability to multi-task. Successful completion of annual product training and testing to maintain regulatory certification is also required./p/div
