Located on 260 acres along the Colorado River, surrounded by 2,000-foot-high cliffs, buttes, and mesas, Sorrel River Ranch offers unmatched beauty and opportunities for outdoor experiences./ph3Position Responsibilities:/h3ulliLead informative and engaging tours showcasing the natural beauty and adventure opportunities near Moab, Utah. Tours include UTV experiences, hikes and bike tours./liliProvide in-depth knowledge about local destinations and areas of interest, including Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, and other scenic areas. Educate guests on geography, local history, local flora and fauna./liliEnsure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout excursions./liliInteract with guests on property to showcase the experience programing and sell adventures./liliTailor tours to accommodate diverse guest interests and preferences, offering personalized experiences./liliCollaborate with resort staff to promote and coordinate tour offerings effectively./liliConducting safe trail rides on horseback as well as rides in the barn area./liliCleaning the corral area and barn, maintaining all tack and equipment, and ensuring the health and welfare of the herd./liliOther tasks as assigned./li/ulh3Experience/Other Requirements:/h3ulliWilderness First Responder (WFR) Certification is required prior to start date/liliThe ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of the Moab area or has spent significant time exploring its surroundings./liliProficiency in operating UTVs is required./liliExperience with guiding individuals and groups is required; experience with private tours is preferred./li/ulp Must have extensive knowledge and experience with horses and previous western riding experience.
