In this retail banking role, you will develop and maintain long lasting relationships with not only your customers, but with your co-workers and other areas of the business within Commerce. As a Personal Banker, your goal is to uncover the financial needs of each customer and provide them with solutions to address those needs./ppAs a Personal Banker, youll:/pulliReceive the tools, resources, and training you need to be successful in your role and have opportunities to further your career with Commerce Bank./liliDeliver an excellent customer experience both in person and over the phone to ensure we meet customers financial needs./liliActively listen to our customers so you can make appropriate recommendations that match their needs./liliEducate customers on a variety of retail products and digital solutions that improves their financial wellness./liliEnsure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements./liliEstablish relationships with other internal departments and refer customers to bank specialists when complex financial needs are identified./liliBe able to earn more than your base pay through our quarterly incentive program./li/ulpWork Schedule:/ppMonday - Friday 7:45am-4:45pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm, or 8:45am-5:45pm; and Saturdays 8:45am-12:15pm/ppEssential Functions:/pulliInteract with customers both in person and over the phone to ensure their financial needs are being met through needs-based conversations and sales fulfillment./liliActively listen, understand, and make recommendations of products and services based on customer needs to ensure individual and team sales and services goals are achieved./liliEducate customers on a variety of retail products and digital solutions that enhance the customer experience and contribute to achieving sales goals./liliEnsure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements./liliIdentify complex financial needs and refer customers to bank specialists when appropriate./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpKnowledge, Skills

Abilities Required:/pulliStrong sales skills with the ability to provide an excellent customer experience by easily connecting with customers in-person and over the phone./liliAbility to meet personal and branch sales and customer services expectations./liliMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities./liliTeam player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills./liliAbility to remain adaptable to a variety of situations with an optimistic outlook that is aligned with our culture and Core Values./liliProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook./li/ulpEducation

Experience:/pulliHigh School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required./lili1+ years sales or customer service experience required./liliExperience working in an environment with individual and team sales goals preferred./li/ulpPosition may be filled as a Personal Banker I or a Personal Banker II, depending on experience and education./ppFor this position, federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history. If you express interest in and are considered for this position, you will be asked to authorize that report./ppA reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $20.00 to $24.40 per hour.
