As part of our team, you can explore what motivates and energizes your career goals: partnering with our customers, our communities, and each other./ph3Job Description/h3pWe are seeking a Direct Sales Representative located in the Atlanta, GA area (must reside within a reasonable distance)./ppAs a Direct Sales Representative within the MPS division, you will be responsible for acquiring new merchant clients, expanding existing relationships, and driving revenue growth through direct engagement. This role is central to MPSs transformation from legacy partnership models to a high-performance direct distribution strategy./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3pSales Execution/pp Prospect and acquire new merchant clients across verticals such as Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Public Sector./pp Conduct product demonstrations and articulate the value proposition of MPS solutions./pp Manage a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce and other CRM tools./pp Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals efficiently./ppCustomer Relationship Management/pp Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships./pp Execute customer retention strategies to reduce churn and increase satisfaction./pp Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions tailored to their business needs./ppMarket Development/pp Identify and pursue opportunities in high-growth geographies and verticals./pp Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes./ppOperational Excellence/pp Ensure compliance with internal controls and promotional offer guidelines./pp Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions./ph3Basic Qualifications/h3p- Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience/pp- Two to three years of relevant sales experience/pp- Ability to travel/ph3Preferred Qualifications/h3p 35 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in payments, financial services, or SaaS./pp Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets./pp Strong understanding of merchant services and payment processing./pp Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills./pp Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms./pp Familiarity with MPS platforms and U.S. Bank distribution channels is a plus/pp Regional market expertise in the Southeast U.S is a plus/p/div
