In doing so, the materials representative will adequately support the field services team in providing a high quality level of service to the customer./ph3Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliMake deliveries and pick up spare parts and supplies as necessary/liliCount spare parts inventory to ensure accuracy/liliPlace orders with vendors for spare parts and supplies/liliShip and receive parts orders utilizing various forms of technology (i.e. computer software barcode scanner, etc.)/liliPerform general housekeeping duties in warehouse, field storage, and office areas/liliProcess order requests from field service technicians via phone or e-mail/liliParticipate in safety training program and contribute to continuous improvement of safety guidelines/liliMaintain company vehicle through routine vehicle maintenance and inspection/liliTrack outstanding core parts and return cores to vendors for credit/liliOperate and maintain warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc.)/liliAbility to reconcile invoices/liliAny other duties or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor./li/ulh3Skills/Capabilities and Education/h3ulliHigh School diploma or equivalent required/liliMinimum of 2 years relevant work experience in materials management and/or inventory warehousing/liliPreferred 1 year experience in natural gas industry/liliBasic understanding of invoicing procedures/liliValid drivers license with a Motor Vehicle Record history acceptable to USA Compression/liliCommunicates a can do attitude and positive outlook, minimizing negative behaviors/liliStrong verbal communication skills/liliAbility to ensure ethical behavior in all dealings with suppliers/liliExcellent numerical perception/liliAbility to work independently and with a team/liliMust be able to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities in fast paced environment utilizing strong organizational skills/liliDemonstrates good judgment and a strong attention to detail/liliDemonstrates initiative and resourcefulness/liliKnowledgeable in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet and inventory tracking software./liliAbility to understand written and verbal communication from the company and supervisor including training, procedures, instructions, etc./liliApplicant must have the ability to legally work in the U.S./li/ulh3Working Conditions/h3ulliPeriodic lifting requirements in excess of 50 lbs./liliAbility to stand and walk on uneven and varied terrain, climb ladders and stairs; and stoop, squat, kneel, crouch and crawl depending on the task requirements./liliExposure to extremes in temperature and weather conditions depending upon assigned location./liliSome exposure to high noise levels in excess of 85dBA that require hearing protection, as well as exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals and materials./liliWorking conditions in natural gas compression vary from one job site to another.
