Senior Manager, Corporate Communications
The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications leads corporate communications strategies and plans that shape, develop, and strengthen the corporate reputation of Wells. Leads owned corporate social media channels and websites, manages corporate media and PR inquiries, and drives proactive storytelling to increase awareness, engagement, and trust among key stakeholders. Supports VP in reputation management and thought leadership, and ensures consistent, compelling messaging aligned with Wells values, business priorities, and growth strategies. Responsibilities include: Partners with VP, Comms team, Wells leaders, and agencies in creating holistic external communications strategy for Wells to sustain and grow our corporate reputation. Develops, leads, and communicates Wells corporate communications calendar to all stakeholders. Leads media relations strategies, including building and maintaining strong relationships with national, regional, and local media. Manages media outreach for corporate initiatives, and acts as primary contact for corporate PR and story pitching to media. Owns and leads Wells' owned social networks and corporate sites. Effectively develops strategies for content and storytelling, and ensures information is accurate and up-to-date. Identifies, elevates, and executes stories that demonstrate Wells leadership, people, values, and impact. Partners cross-functionally to identify internal initiatives that can be translated to compelling external storytelling. Supports a broad array of initiatives like issues management, policy creation, Ferrero collaboration, and other strategic priorities that support the overall Corporate Communications team and strategy. Effectively monitors performance through aligned KPIs to review sentiment, emotion, and trends to continually optimize content and engagement. Manages and optimizes the creation of corporate content (assets, designs, imagery, video, etc.) that help tell the Wells story and advance our reputation and business growth.
