divh2Job Title/h2pAssists hotel sales department with various administrative and sales duties./ppEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned./pulliAnswers hotel phones, greets visitors and provides information as requested for the sales office./liliDistributes incoming mail and processes outgoing correspondence including shipments through UPS, Fed Ex, etc./liliMaintains hotel sales office files and ensures that sales office is kept neat and clean and that business center is fully stocked./liliPrepares hotel sales reports as directed and updates reader boards./liliMaintains inventory of office supplies and forms and creates door signs for meetings./liliFinalizes banquet event orders (BEO) and rooming lists for functions./liliConducts property tours and handles transportation requests./liliMeets and/or exceeds individual quantitative revenue and production goals set forth by the general manager and/or director of operations./liliMakes up sales kits and client gifts and sends out thank you letters./liliFollows up on payment issues/adjustments with property accountant and corporate office as necessary./li/ulpResponsible for following all KHC policies and procedures as set forth in the KHC handbook and property specific guidelines/standards. These policies include dress code, safety and performance standards. Employees must also maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled./ppThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
